New Aircraft Refuelers Complete Full Pre-Delivery Inspection in Strict Compliance With JIG International Standards
Dec 24, 2025| Recently, a batch of new aircraft refueler successfully passed comprehensive pre-delivery performance inspections at our testing center, with all items strictly adhering to the JIG 1 (Joint Inspection Group) international aviation fuel handling standards. These vehicles are scheduled for delivery and will soon enter service in aviation ground support operations.
As an internationally recognized authority on aviation fuel safety operations, the JIG standards impose comprehensive and detailed requirements on the design, performance, and safety systems of refueling vehicles. This round of inspections covered six critical systems:
🔹 Interlock safety system testing
🔹 Pressure control and flow calibration
🔹 Filtration and separation performance verification
🔹 Static grounding continuity inspection
🔹 Emergency braking and shutdown function validation
🔹 Labeling and documentation compliance review
During the inspection process, technicians used professional equipment to measure and verify over 50 performance indicators for each vehicle. Notably, during the pressure control calibration phase, both primary and secondary pressure systems of the vehicles met the precision requirements specified in JIG Appendix A9, ensuring stable pressure during aircraft refueling operations and preventing potential surges to aircraft fuel systems.
"What we deliver is not just a vehicle, but a complete mobile safety system," stated the head of the testing center. "Each refueling truck that leaves our facility must have an independent inspection record, with all data traceable and verifiable. This is our fundamental commitment to aviation safety."
It is understood that this batch of vehicles is equipped with electronic water sensor systems compliant with EI 1598 standards, enabling real-time monitoring of water content in fuel and further enhancing the accuracy and responsiveness of fuel quality control. The vehicles' exterior markings strictly follow EI 1542 specifications, ensuring clear identification of product type, fuel grade, and other critical information.
As the aviation industry continues to raise safety requirements for ground operations, adherence to international standards such as JIG has become an industry consensus. The successful completion of these inspections marks another solid step forward in the standardization and internationalization of China's aviation ground support equipment.
The refueling trucks are expected to be delivered by the end of this month.
