Simple, quick, and sensitive CASRI Water Detection Capsules can be used to detect the presence of free water (suspended water) in jet fuels at handling temperature.
- Product Introduction
The Chinese Civil Aviation Administration has authorized and given their seal of approval to Fuel Test. The detector head pulls a 5ml sample into the syringe. At around 10 ppm, the capsule's color changes from pale yellow to pale green, providing the first warning. The color deepens to a dark green-blue hue, signifying a 30 ppm water content.
Fit the capsule to the syringe with the plunger in the closed position to prevent it from falling into the fuel sample.
Dip the capsule into the lower part of the freshly drawn fuel sample of interest to draw 5 ml of the fuel sample. Draw 5ml of gasoline and inject gasoline Test into the chemical water detecting port of the closed circuit sampler.
Withdraw the syringe and check the color of the central area to immediately estimate the volume of suspended water.
The center must be yellow or yellowish to be regarded a valid gasoline sample.
The distributed water content will be yellowish green if the center is (or contains portions of) this color.
