Operating Principle
The coupling features a dual shut-off valve design that ensures a dry disconnect every time:
Connection: When the adapter (male) is inserted into the coupler (female), the cam-and-lever mechanism simultaneously opens both valves, allowing fluid flow.
Disconnection: Upon release of the handle, the internal springs force both valves to close instantly and automatically, trapping the fluid within the system and preventing any leakage to the atmosphere.
